On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Sara Perlman and Drew Dinsick preview what bettors should expect for this weekend's action-packed slate, including the race at the Belmont, Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and Game 6 of the NHL Playoffs.
The dynamic duo kicks off the day by bringing in Horse Racing expert Britney Eurton to preview what bettors need to know heading into the Belmont. Britney has her sights set on the only filly in Nest (8/1) to make some noise against the boys. Britney explains why We the People (2/1) is the favorite entering Saturday, but believes Creative Minister (6/1) and Barber Road (10/1) are worthy of attention. Eurton also details what to expect in the Ogden Phipps and Met Mile races in New York.
Bet the Edge welcomes in the man, the myth, the legend in PointsBet's Head Trader Jay Croucher to dish out his best analysis in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Jay blueprints what to expect with the Boston Celtics (-4) up 2-1 in the series against the Golden State Warriors. He also takes a look at the Finals MVP probabilities with Jayson Tatum sitting at -115 and Jaylen Brown at +325. Croucher also dives into Game 6 of the NHL playoff matchup between the New York Rangers (+155) down 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning (-186). Jay believes one of the best bets to make is Nikita Kucherov to win the Conn Smythe Trophy (+600), as opposed to backing the Lightning to win their 3rd straight Stanley Cup.
Sara and Drew wrap up the show with their Edge of the Day. Drew is targeting an alternate Warriors team total (99.5) against the Celtics, while Sara eyes the game total (214.5) in Game 5 between Boston and Golden State.
