On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Brad Thomas dish their favorite looks in the NFL for Week 12. They also take a peak at some of their favorite World cup matches of the day.
Bet the Edge kicks off the show discussing the tale as old as time with England (-175) and the USA (+500) (Draw: +300) set to square up the day after Thanksgiving. Jay and Brad discuss the high rate of draws occurring thus far in the tournament, and why it might not be a bad bet here. Brad also details why he is eyeing up both teams to score in Belgium vs Canada (-130).
The show then welcomes in NBC Sports Edge's one and only Johnny Venezia (@_JohnnyVTV) to help shift focus on some of Week 12's most mouth-watering Sunday games. Johnny V checks out the Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5) at the Tennessee Titans, and why he expects a much different result for Derrick Henry in this year's rematch. The trio then look at the Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) with heavy interest in backing the Seahawks coming off a bye. Jay, Brad, and Johnny all believe the matchup is too favorable for Seattle to get back on track. They also explain why the Green Bay Packers are still too overmatched against the Philadelphia Eagles (-7) on SNF despite getting a touchdown. The show wraps with examining what the benching of Zach Wilson means this Sunday for the Jets' matchup as five-point favorites vs. Chicago Bears.
Bet the Edge will highlighting several more pivotal matchups throughout the week!
