This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Tuesday’s six-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
Cade Cunningham - Detroit (vs. Atlanta) - DK: $7,500 / FD: $7,300 / Yahoo: $30
Cunningham has a 33 fantasy point average this season, and he has been consistently over that total lately. That includes a sweet 52 FP outing at Toronto last Thursday. The rookie has plenty of fantasy upside in his arsenal, and tonight is a fine spot to put that on display. His opponent, Atlanta, ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to shooting guards. We could see a duel between Cunningham and Trae Young tonight, and taking both point guards isn’t a bad fantasy strategy.

Jordan Poole - Golden State (at Denver) - DK: $5,300 / FD: $4,700 / Yahoo: $24
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins are all sitting out tonight. It’s hard to predict what the Warriors’ rotation will look like, but you better believe Poole will see a ton of minutes and usage. Poole is the type of player who can handle that workload too, and he makes for a fantastic DFS option through all formats while stepping into a massive opportunity.
RJ Barrett - New York (at Sacramento) - DK: $8,000 / FD: $7,600 / Yahoo: $29
Barrett has been cooking with 40+ fantasy points in four of his last five games. That includes 57 fantasy points vs. Miami and 44 fantasy points at Philadelphia. Tonight’s matchup at Sacramento sets up extremely well, as the Kings rank seventh in pace and 26th in defensive efficiency to small forwards. Roster Barrett with confidence in this eight-game slate.
Also Consider: Josh Hart, De’Andre Hunter
Jerami Grant - Detroit (vs. Atlanta) - DK: $6,500 / FD: $6,600 / Yahoo: $23
It appears that Grant is fully back after returning from an extended absence on February 1. If you recall, Grant was consistently priced over $8k last season, and he’s trending in that direction again. The Pistons’ forward has notched 35+ fantasy points in four straight, and he’s back seeing full starter minutes. Needless to say, his salary is lagging behind that recent uptick. Facing an Atlanta team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency to power forwards doesn’t hurt either. Go ahead and scoop up Grant while he’s still underpriced.
Karl-Anthony Towns - Minnesota (vs. Portland) - DK: $10,600 / FD: $9,200 / Yahoo: $43
There’s plenty of value in this slate, so you should be able to reach for a top-dollar superstar like Towns. The matchup vs. Portland looks outstanding, considering the Blazers are shorthanded up front. Towns took advantage of that a few days ago while posting 70 FP against the Blazers. Another massive performance could be on deck with Towns squaring off against Drew Eubanks and the other Portland backups.
Also Consider: Mitchell Robinson, Drew Eubanks
Immanuel Quickley (PG - NYK) and Alec Burks (SG - NYK) are both in the value conversation. Burks carries more weight in cash games after hitting 35+ fantasy points in back-to-back games while seeing starter-like minutes.
Brandon Williams (PG - POR), Trendon Watford (PF - POR), and Drew Eubanks (C - POR) will try to pick up the slack for an injury-plagued Portland squad. Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons, Jusuf Nurkic, Eric Bledsoe, and others are out. Watford is the best fantasy play of that bunch followed by Williams then Eubanks as a bargain filler.
