Here we go with the single-game slate for Bucks-Suns Game 5 on Saturday. The Suns are listed as four-point home favorites with a 218.5 over/under on PointsBet. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 ET.

In the sections below, we will run through the top overall plays, appealing bargains, and best strategy when assembling a single-game lineup for FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.

NOTES

Dario Saric is OUT. Saric was only playing around 10-13 minutes, so spreading that playing time across multiple players doesn't really move the needle for DFS purposes.

TOP PLAYS

Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF - Milwaukee

Let’s go ahead and lock Antetokounmpo into the MVP and Megastar spots on FanDuel and Yahoo respectively. Of course, you don’t have to pay a salary multiplier on those sites, so why not take Giannis through all formats? The Milwaukee superstar has lived up to his reputation in this series while hitting 68+ fantasy points in each of the last three games. That’s nearly 20 FP higher than the next projection. Don’t overthink this one, make Giannis your MVP!

Chris Paul / Devin Booker - PG / SG - Phoenix

I believe in a Chris Paul bounce-back spot tonight. The veteran point guard has been down from a fantasy (and real-life) perspective with 32 and 20 FP respectively over his last two. Let’s not forget that he opened the Finals with a bang in the form of 51 fantasy points … I’m looking to take either CP3 or Booker in my lineups, gravitating toward whichever is cheaper on the site in front of me. Booker is a fantastic play for only $12,000 on FanDuel while Paul cannot be ignored for just $8,800 on DraftKings. That’s how I’m playing these guys.

BARGAINS

Jae Crowder - PF - Phoenix

Crowder is no longer a true bargain on every DFS site. His salary is still friendly on FanDuel at $10,000 - so he’s a strong consideration through all formats over there. Crowder is in play for Yahoo and DraftKings as well, although the fattened price tag causes hesitation. The veteran forward has been a boom-or-bust fantasy option in the playoffs, but he’s hit a stride with a cool 35 FPPG average over his last three. The bottom line: take him on FanDuel. Don’t necessarily force him on DK or Yahoo.

Cameron Johnson - SF - Phoenix

Johnson only had 14 fantasy points last game, but we can still take comfort in the fact that he logged 28 minutes. He’s averaging 24 minutes and 19 fantasy points in this series, which are acceptable numbers when considering the short salary and limited options on this single-game slate. Keep rolling with Johnson while hoping he can maintain those averages.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Khris Middleton (SG - MIL) is very much in play with the second-highest projection according to our NBA DFS Optimizer. He’s a no-brainer over on FanDuel for only $12,500 - but you’ll have to finesse his marked-up salary on sites like Yahoo and DraftKings. That’s where guys like Jrue Holiday (PG - MIL) and/or Deandre Ayton (C - PHX) could make for better “per dollar” options. I love Ayton’s salary ($8k) on DraftKings, making a nice cost-effective pairing with Paul.

Pat Connaughton (SG - MIL) is another true bargain to help you roster to top plays of this slate. I find myself relying on him the most as a $4,800 utility filler on DraftKings. Connaughton profiles similarly to Johnson, as mentioned earlier in the article. Both guys will see around 30 minutes although that doesn’t necessarily guarantee fantasy success. Still, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to make something happen, and that’s all you can ask for on this single-game slate.
