This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Tuesday’s main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Donovan Mitchell - Utah (vs. Sacramento) - DK: $8,800 / FD: $8,000 / Yahoo: $39
Mitchell checks all the boxes for me tonight. First off, he’s trending up with 38 and 44 fantasy points respectively in his last two games. The matchup looks strong against a Sacramento team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency to shooting guards. Mitchell already posted 40 FP against the Kings earlier this year, and that seems to be a realistic baseline for tonight’s game. He won’t break the bank either.
Also Consider: Kyle Lowry, Luka Doncic

SHOOTING GUARD
Jimmy Butler - Miami (at Dallas) - DK: $9,100 / FD: $10,000 / Yahoo: $43
Butler has been a fantasy beast so far this season. He’s averaging a consistent 49 FPPG mark across six games. He has also topped 52 fantasy points in four straight. There’s a good chance he’ll keep that going against Dallas tonight, and this should be a fun back-and-forth battle with Luka Doncic. On top of that, Bam Adebayo is questionable for Miami, and his absence could lead to even more usage for Butler.
Also Consider: Tyrese Haliburton, Pat Connaughton
SMALL FORWARD
Thanasis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee (at Detroit) - DK: $3,100 / FD: $4,200 / Yahoo: $11
Thanasis seems to have carved out a nice role for Milwaukee. Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday are sidelined, so the “other” Antetokounmpo has been seeing more minutes. He stepped up with 34 fantasy points in 32 minutes against Utah last time out. That’s probably the high water mark for Thanasis, but it’s nice to see him convert. He’s dirt cheap with upside in a nice matchup tonight, so look to him through all formats.
Also Consider: Kevin Porter Jr., Eric Gordon
POWER FORWARD
Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee (at Detroit) - DK: $11,600 / FD: $11,300 / Yahoo: $56
Go ahead and lock in both Antetokounmpo brothers in the same lineup. As mentioned in the previous write-up, the Bucks are shorthanded tonight. That means even more usage for Giannis, who doesn’t need an excuse to take over the game. The matchup against Detroit is a good one, as the Pistons don’t have anyone to slow down the former MVP. Don’t overthink it, Giannis is the best play on the board tonight!
Also Consider: Harrison Barnes, Carmelo Anthony
CENTER
Rudy Gobert - Utah (vs. Sacramento) - DK: $8,100 / FD: $8,200 / Yahoo: $34
Gobert is a solid fantasy player who is averaging 43 FPPG this season. He has been consistently around that mark in all six games, and it’s rare that he will put up a fantasy score that hurts your squad. That especially holds true when considering the matchup against Sacramento. The Kings rank dead last in defensive efficiency to centers, and Gobert already took them for 46 fantasy points over a week ago. A repeat performance is very much in the cards.
Also Consider: Kelly Olynyk
POTENTIAL BARGAINS
Kevin Porter Jr. (SF - HOU) has been all over the place from a fantasy perspective this season. Blowouts and general inconsistencies have plagued him. If the Rockets can keep things semi-competitive, then Porter should be poised for a respectable DFS performance. That was the case when he went for 30 FP in 36 minutes against the Lakers last time out, and he’ll look to repeat that against LAL tonight.
Pat Connaughton (SG - MIL) stands to benefit from the Milwaukee injuries as well. He has been up-and-down recently, but the Milwaukee wing is still seeing around 30-35 minutes per contest. That has resulted in 26+ fantasy points in three of his last five, and Connaughton is still an interesting cheap filler to help round out your lineup.
