Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Monday Night Football of Week 17. Today’s matchup is between the Steelers and Browns with Pittsburgh checking in as a three-point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 43 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

We will be producing these articles for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football matchups, so be sure to bookmark the NBC Sports EDGE DFS Page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS

Najee Harris - RB - Pittsburgh (DK: $10,800 / FD: $15,000 / Yahoo: $23)

Harris is the mainstay of this Pittsburgh offense, and that makes him an appealing fantasy asset through all formats. The matchup isn’t great for either side, but Harris should see enough volume to make good on his salary. Despite a blowout loss at Kansas City last weekend, Harris piled up 110 total yards and 24 touches. He went for 120 total yards and a score on 29 touches against the Browns earlier this season, and a repeat performance is not out of the question.

Ben Roethlisberger - QB - Pittsburgh (DK: $9,400 / FD: $14,000 / Yahoo: $25)

This will probably be Roethlisberger’s last game at Heinz Field. I’m not expecting a vintage performance, but there’s some room for Big Ben to put up numbers. Looking past that, there’s not much opportunity cost on this slate, so taking both quarterbacks is definitely in the conversation through all formats. Roethlisberger went for 266 yards and a touchdown against the Browns earlier this season, which doesn’t seem like much. However that 15 FP performance isn’t bad when looking at the other players in this slate.

BEST BARGAINS

Ray-Ray McCloud - WR - Pittsburgh (DK: $3,400 / FD: $6,500 / Yahoo: $10)

McCloud has seen eight targets in two of his last three games for the Steelers. He seems to be drifting into WR3 territory lately. McCloud typically runs underneath routes for Pittsburgh, which translates to numerous catches for minimal yardage. Still, McCloud is an interesting bargain on a full PPR site like DraftKings.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Austin Hooper - TE - Cleveland (DK: $5,200 / FD: $8,000 / Yahoo: $11)

Hooper is a touchdown-dependent play who will see around five catches per game. Cleveland’s receiving corps is nothing to write home about, so Hooper emerges as one of the top pass-catchers for his quarterback. He saw six targets against the Steelers earlier this season, and we would gladly take that type of workload once again for this cheap salary.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Baker Mayfield (QB - CLE) and Roethlisberger are pretty much the same from a fantasy perspective. There’s not a ton of upside, but they are worth a look through all formats for this single-game slate. Jarvis Landry (WR - CLE) has been WR1 for the Browns for some time now, but that hasn’t translated to much upside either. He’s more of a tournament pick on this slate, as the Steelers’ defense is solid.

Nick Chubb (RB - CLE) is expensive, but he could be worth every penny tonight. The Steelers have shown generosity to the running game lately, and Chubb could take over with some numbers of his own tonight. Taking both RBs on this slate is not a bad strategy.

Diontae Johnson (WR - PIT) is another potential top play. If the Steelers’ passing game is working, it will likely be Johnson who is making it happen. Chase Claypool (WR - PIT) is a risk/reward tournament play, while Pat Freiermuth (TE - PIT) is borderline cash playable with touchdown upside.

James Washington (WR - PIT) and Harrison Bryant (TE - CLE) are two dirt-cheap options who you are hoping can come through with a touchdown.

Chris Boswell (K - PIT) and Chase McLaughlin (K - CLE) are very much in play tonight without many legitimate bargains jumping off the screen.
