Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Thursday Night Football of Week 13. Today’s matchup is between Cowboys and Saints with Dallas checking in as a six-point road favorite. The over/under currently rests at 47 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

We will be producing these articles for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football matchups, so be sure to bookmark the NBC Sports EDGE DFS Page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS

Dak Prescott - QB - Dallas (DK: $11,800 / FD: $16,500 / Yahoo: $35)

Prescott is an easy top choice in cash games tonight. The Saints have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, and Dak is in an excellent position to attack that vulnerability. Sure, he has been erratic over the last few weeks, but Prescott has gone for 25+ fantasy points in three of his last five games. Playing in a dome within a beatable matchup should keep him going.

Taysom Hill - QB - New Orleans (DK: $9,600 / FD: $7,000 / Yahoo: $20)

It was announced that Taysom Hill will start tonight. He’s way too cheap on FanDuel, where you should click him into your lineup without a second thought. Hill is still very playable on DraftKings and Yahoo, but you’ll need to massage the salary cap a little more to fit him alongside Prescott. If you recall, Hill started four games last season while ending up with four touchdown passes and four touchdown runs in that span. He also averaged 205 passing yards per contest. Basically, he’s a quality running back and a below-average QB wrapped up in one person. That makes for a favorable fantasy situation in this single-game slate.

BEST BARGAINS

Mark Ingram - RB - New Orleans (DK: $5,000 / FD: $12,000 / Yahoo: $15)

I’m somewhat worried that Hill could steal a few goal-line looks from Ingram. However, the volume should be there with New Orleans likely enacting a run-heavy approach. Ingram has seen 18 and 22 touches respectively despite some negative game flow over his last two contests. His work in the passing game has been a pleasant surprise. Ingram is too cheap over on DraftKings and Yahoo, where you can take him with confidence.

Greg Zuerlein - K - Dallas (DK: $4,200 / FD: $9,000 / Yahoo: N/A)

Zuerlein is another way to cash in on this Dallas offense. The Cowboys’ kicker has done his job with an 11 FPPG average over his last five games. I’m gravitating towards his cheap salary on DraftKings, as there aren’t many similarly-priced options who we can call upon to hit double-digits. Kicking in a dome doesn’t hurt either.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Tre’Quan Smith - WR - New Orleans (DK: $5,600 / FD: $9,000 / Yahoo: $13)

Most people will be skeptical of New Orleans’ passing game with Hill at quarterback. However, there’s a chance the Saints will need to air things out while playing from behind late in the game. Smith is the top receiver for New Orleans, and he could see 7-8 targets to potentially rip off a big play. The Cowboys have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to receivers this season.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

CeeDee Lamb (WR - DAL) is the best stacking extension of Prescott tonight. New Orleans has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Amari Cooper (WR - DAL) is questionable, and there’s a chance he’ll have limited snaps even if he plays. That puts more work on Lamb and Michael Gallup (WR - DAL) in this strong matchup. Dalton Schultz (TE - DAL) is a cool tournament choice with fellow TE Blake Jarwin still on the shelf.

Ezekiel Elliott (RB - DAL) has been up-and-down lately, but game flow apparently favors the Cowboys’ rushing attack tonight. Elliott is a fine fantasy choice, but there’s a chance Tony Pollard (RB - DAL) could be the guy while looking extremely efficient in recent games. Pollard is a nice tournament pick.

Marquez Callaway (WR - NO), Deonte Harris (WR - NO), and Nick Vannett (TE - NO) are all tournament fillers. Good luck predicting this New Orleans passing offense with Hill taking snaps. All of these guys are touchdown-dependent, and that becomes more of a stretch when considering that Hill is a “run first” quarterback.
