Colgate at Syracuse (-7.5): O/U 152.5

No more Syracuse zone defense and the first result of that was a 90-72 shootout versus Lehigh.

Syracuse went 50% from three-point range (6-of-12), 24-of-31 from the free-throw line (77.4%) and allowed Lehigh to hit 38.1% of its triples (8-of-21) and 76.9% of its freebies (10-of-13).

The Over is 9-2 in Syracuse's last 11 November games (81.8%), per NBC's Edge Finder. The Orange are 6-1 to the Over (85.7%) in the past seven November home games. The Over is 7-1 in Syracuse's last seven games overall (87.5%).

Syracuse Overs

For Colgate, the Raiders are 6-4 to the Over in the last 10 road games during November (60%). The Raiders hit the Over in two out three versus the ACC last year with the lone Under hitting by a half-point versus NC State (77-74 with a O/U of 151.5).

Colgate is one of the better shooting teams in the country right now at 20th in effective field goal percentage (61.1%), 7th in two-point percentage (67.1%) and is 33rd in height (78.3). The Raiders two Division I games so far. resulted in 175 and 145 points versus Buffalo and Brown. Colgate put up 93 points on non-DI Wells.

Syracuse is top 100 in all of those offensive categories as well, so these are two talented offenses with height down low. The Orange's average offensive possession was 15.2 seconds versus Lehigh (51st), while Colgate's defenses average possession length 14.8 seconds (27th) through three games.

I think the pace will be there for this Over, plus I expect Syracuse to shoot more triples than they did versus Lehigh and attempt to hand out payback to Colgate after last season.

Colgate won 100-85 last season at Syracuse. The Orange led 22-5 at one point.

I played the Over 152.5 and would play this to 154.

Pick: Over 152.5 (1u)
