Arsenal vs Wolves (Sunday, 11:30 am ET)
Arsenal's dream start has come to an end. They won't win the Premier League title this year, but they should be proud of how far they have come. This is the same team that bottled a Champions League spot last season. The team that looked doomed at the end of the season. They put up a massive fight. Yet, it wasn't enough. They exceeded expectations this season. They are on their way to being a solid side next season.
Wolves have been your classic Wolves team. The team that we've become accustomed to over the years. A side that, at times, is the best defensive unit in the league. However, yet again, they fail to produce goals. One of the lowest goal productions in the Premier League. They will have their hands full with the Gunners on Sunday. Arsenal will have one last chance to celebrate their season. They are the better side and want to put on a big performance for their home fans for the last time for their home fans.
Prediction: Arsenal 3, Wolves 0
Southampton vs Liverpool (Sunday, 11:30 am ET)
This match has no implications on table standings. Southampton have been relegated, and Liverpool cannot make it into the top four on the table. It will be challenging to determine the motivation factor in this match. We could either see a wide-open game or a stalemate. With the attacking prowess of Liverpool and the lack of defensive continuity of Southampton, my guess is we see Liverpool dominance. I'd prefer not to bet on this match. However, for Predictor, we can take Liverpool this weekend.
Prediction: Southampton 1, Liverpool 2
Manchester United vs Fulham (Sunday, 11:30 am ET)
United locked up a top-four spot with a blowout win over Chelsea on Thursday. Their 4-1 win demonstrated how making the right moves and appointing the right manager can take a club far. Comfortably in a top-four spot and having just played a midweek match, it's expected some rotation from this club. Erik Ten Hag's club still has a cup match to worry about. Picking up an injury in a meaningless game is something they can't afford.
Fulham likely will go full strength this weekend. This is a team who hasn't shown quit all season. They do have a few injuries but should have a nearly full squad. With their squad strength and a possibly rotated Manchester United side, we see both teams scoring. The outcome is unpredictable.
Prediction: Manchester United 2, Fulham 1
