The Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants play their third game of a three game series tonight in San Francisco. The Brewers won the first two games of the series. Brett Anderson and Kevin Gausman are tonight’s Starting Pitchers.

Milwaukee Brewers (+155)  vs. San Francisco Giants (-186) Total: 7.5

The Brewers and Giants are both leading their respective divisions deep into the season. PointsBet has the Brewers at +325 to win the NL Pennant while the Giants are +375 on the same market. The Brewers are winners of seven of their last 10 games while the Giants have lost four of their last five. Kevin Gausman will try to get the Giants back on track tonight.

Giants' starter Kevin Gausman is in good form right now, to steal a phrase from my golf guys. In his last 5 starts, Gausman has only allowed nine earned runs in 25.2 innings pitched; he struck out 27 batters in that time frame and has three wins. This season, the Giants are 17-9 on the Money Line in games started by Gausman. When Gausman has pitched at home, the Giants are 7-4 on the Money Line.

Brett Anderson is getting the start for the Brewers today, and he has struggled lately. He is 0-3 in the month of August with an ERA over 5.00. The Brewers are 9-11 on the Money Line in games started by Anderson this season. Even with the Giants being a huge public favorite today, there's no way you can back the Brewers in this spot. I think betting them on the Run Line is even risky.

The opening Total on this game around the industry was 7.5. That number has remained solid throughout the day, but the juice has been around -121 to -115 to the Over. When Kevin Gausman has started at home this season, the Over is 8-2-1.

EDGE: Over 7.5 (-115)
