Brock Nelson went up from 17% to 21% from a week ago after scoring three goals in four games. Robert Thomas is still available in 68% of Yahoo leagues, while Calle Jarnkrok, who has 17 points in his past 23 appearances, can be had in 99% of pools.
Michael Bunting (36%) and Mikko Koskinen (38%) should be scooped up by fantasy managers if they are still available.
Laurent Brossoit (19%) has some roster appeal as well if you are desperate for help in the crease. However, wins have been hard to come by for him during Robin Lehner’s absence.

Now, let’s get into this week’s suggestions:
Phillip Danault (Los Angeles) - C - Rostered in 22% of Yahoo leagues
Danault made an appearance on Waiver Wired a week ago and he is worth revisiting again with the Kings slated to play four times this coming week. He potted his 15th goal of the year on Saturday to add to his career-high total. Danault has 30 points through 51 games this campaign to go along with 119 shots and 46 hits. Danault has been hot with five goals and eight points in his past nine outings.
Nino Niederreiter (Carolina) - Rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues
Niederreiter has heated up going into a busy week for the Hurricanes. He has provided two goals and three assists in five games, while getting 10 shots on goal. Niederreiter has two goals and two assists over a three-game point streak going into Sunday’s match against Edmonton.
Rickard Rakell (Anaheim) - LW, RW - Rostered in 17% of Yahoo leagues
Rakell has found the back of the net six times in his past eight outings. He has one assist, 21 shots and 15 hits during that time. His three-game point streak was snapped on Friday in a quiet contest for Anaheim’s offense, but he still has plenty of appeal going into this week as well as the one afterward. The Ducks have three matches scheduled at home followed by four on the road to kick off March.
Filip Hronek (Detroit) - D - Rostered in 16% of Yahoo leagues
Hronek is coming off a four-point performance on Saturday when he posted one goal and three assists against Toronto. That gives him six points, including five helpers, in his past five outings. Rookie blueliner Moritz Seider has attracted most of the attention this season, and rightfully so, but Hronek has put together a solid year as well. He has five goals, 28 points, 92 shots, 54 blocks and 42 hits through 49 games.
Yegor Sharangovich (New Jersey) - Rostered in 11% of Yahoo leagues
Sharangovich has made some appearances on Waiver Wired this year and fantasy managers can finally potentially get some good use out of adding him for this week. The Devils have four games scheduled after playing just three times over the previous two weeks. Sharangovich has a six-game point streak over which has supplied four goals and five helpers. He has 13 shots on target over that span. He has been clicking with Jack Hughes and Dawson Mercer (5%) on the top line.

Connor Brown (Ottawa) - LW, RW - Rostered in 11% of Yahoo leagues
Brown has been productive this season with 28 points (seven goals, 21 assists) in 37 appearances. He has two goals and seven assists in 11 contests since he returned from a broken jaw earlier this month. Brown also has 24 shots on target during that stretch as well as 11 blocks. The Senators open the month of March with four matches on the road this week.
Nick Schmaltz (Arizona) - C, RW - Rostered in 8% of Yahoo leagues
Schmaltz has been red hot despite a light schedule for the Coyotes over the past two weeks. He has three goals and three assists during a three-game point streak along with six goals and 10 points in nine February matches. Schmaltz has accounted for 10 goals and 18 points in his past 16 appearances. He is up to 25 points across 33 contests this campaign. Schmaltz has meshed nicely with Clayton Keller on Arizona’s top line. Unfortunately, the team only has two games scheduled for this week, but fantasy managers could get a bonus game on Sunday against Winnipeg on Sunday if they act quickly.
Corey Perry (Tampa Bay) - RW - Rostered in 8% of Yahoo leagues
Perry has notched 14 goals and 28 points in 51 games this season. The 36-year-old veteran forward also has 43 penalty minutes, 99 shots and 51 hits. Perry has been a good source of offense despite playing in the bottom-six forward group. He has two goals and three assists in his past four outings. Tampa Bay has four games slated for this week, which makes Perry worthy of a short-term pickup.
Jake DeBrusk (Boston) - LW, RW - Rostered in 6% of Yahoo leagues
DeBrusk has four goals and one assist during a four-game point streak. He has been seeing time on the top line with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron over the past two games. Whether DeBrusk is being showcased for a potential trade ahead of March 21 deadline or not, he is worthy of a pickup ahead of a four-game road trip for the Bruins this week.
Frederick Gaudreau (Minnesota) - C - Rostered in 3% of Yahoo leagues
Gaudreau has been mentioned in recent weeks on Waiver Wired as a good under-the-radar addition and that hasn’t changed. He has lit the lamp in each of the past two games and he has amassed 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 13 contests going into March. Minnesota has four games scheduled for this week. Gaudreau’s productive play with Kevin Fiala and Matthew Boldy along with a busy slate of games makes him a solid pickup option.
