The NBA continues tonight with a six-game slate, with the first game tipping off at 3:30 PM ET.

We are already almost done with the first month of the 2021-22 NBA season, meaning we have a better idea of team rotations and tactics. We have adjusted some of our preseason ratings and reevaluated player prop projections. However, it seems as if the sportsbooks have yet to align with players' recent forms and their increased offensive roles, providing value amongst the market.

With that said, let's jump into my favorite NBA prop bets for Sunday's slate. All odds are from PointsBet and are reflective at the time of writing.

Best Bet #1 - Dejounte Murray Over 17.5 Points (-120)

Dejounte Murray has taken on a greater role for the San Antonio Spurs offense this season, and he has been taking full advantage of it. Murray is averaging a career-high 18.4 points per game while shooting 45.7% from the field. He is also leading the team in minutes played, averaging 34.3 minutes per game.

Many consider Murray to have an outdated play style as he does most of his scoring from the midrange. According to cleaningtheglass.com, the 25-year-old has made 55% of his shot attempts from within four to 23 feet this season. However, in his last five games, Murray is shooting 46% from beyond the arc on 22 total attempts in that span.

The San Antonio Spurs will go up against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. This matchup will favor Murray and his scoring preference, as the Thunder allow the fifth-highest opponent effective field goal percentage in the league with 53.5%. Teams are also converting on 41.2% on attempts between 21-24 feet when facing OKC.

Dejounte Murray has reached this prop value in five of the nine games he's played this season.

Best Bet #2 - Evan Mobley Over 13.5 Points (-130)

Evan Mobley's length, intelligence and quick feet have transitioned well into the NBA. The rookie is averaging 13.8 points and 49.1% shooting.

However, the Cleveland Cavaliers' head coach J.B. Bickerstaff's recent offensive tactics have shown that he is trying to involve Mobley even more into the offense. For instance, according to FanSided, Mobley has received 31.8% of his passes from Garland and 25% from Rubio, indicating that Mobley is in more pick-and-roll and entry ball pass situations.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the New York Knicks this evening. This matchup will allow Mobley to pop out of the pick-and-roll or pull up for a midrange jump shot from the block, as the Knicks allow teams to shoot 54.7% within 10-14 feet (worst in the NBA). It will also be Mobley's first time playing in Madison Square Garden, where many players often have a physiological boost due to the atmosphere.

Evan Mobley has reached this prop value in five of ten games this season. Our NBC Sports Edge projection model predicts that the 20-year-old will have 17.6 points tonight.
